But I would suspect that anyone who has been gaining weight recently has done so because of at least one of the reasons listed below.

2. “You eat too much meat and fat.”
3. “You eat too many carbs.”
4. “You drink too much alcohol.”
5. “You’re lazy.”
6. “You’ve got emotional problems.”
7. “You’re on pharmaceutical drugs for depression.”
8. “You don’t exercise.”
9. “You’re doing the wrong type of exercise.”
10. “You’re getting old so your metabolism has slowed.”
