… but only if you snack on the right things. In fact studies show that eating 5 times a day is not only good for the metabolism but it’s good for weight loss too!
But be warned, you have to snack with consideration especially where portion sizes are concerned. I am not suggesting that you use this as an excuse to eat 5 meals each day, when I say 3 portion controlled meals and 2 snacks I mean 3 portion controlled meals and 2 snacks of under 100 calories.
Below are 10 low calorie snack sugestions some are healthy, some savoury and some should be viewed only as a treat:
1) A punnet of blueberries and 1 tbsp of fat free Greek yoghurt (around 90 calories )
2) 8 cashew nuts (around 85 calories)
3) Small banana (80 calories approx)
4) Milk chocolate protein bar (100 calories)
5) 2 jaffa cakes (around 90 calories) treat
6) 2 breadsticks with a little humous (around 95 calories)
7) 1 treat size milky way (76 calories) treat
8) 1 hard boiled egg (78 calories)
9) A handfull of grapes around 20 (approx 70 calories)
10) 1 packet of Quavers (87 calories) treat
