Day 3 (yesterday – sorry was too busy to post) and doing ok so far, another 1 lb gone which is a relief because I did cheat a little and had some sweets and a glass of wine but hopefully not too much damage done. Let’s hope it doesn’t show on the next weigh in!
So as with my day 1 and day 2 posts I want to report on my experiences from December’s weight management experiment and for those who have been following my daily blogs you already know a couple of the issues that popped up but I also noticed a huge, huge problem with was my nails.
Now I generally have pretty reasonable nails, the odd one does break now and again but overall I do tend to have decent looking nails but towards the end of December (just in time for Christmas of course!) they were snapping like I’ve never known before. In fact as I sit here now looking at them, I have only five left with a decent length nail, the others all snapped off and snapped very low down indeed.
But I am expecting all of that to change over the next few weeks, now that I am back on my protein shake, multivitamin and mineral supplement and of course my XtraCal supplement but let’s see how we get on and I’ll report back to you shortly on their progress. Having said all that there is a benefit to having very short and horrible looking nails – I can type much quicker – yeh!!
Oh and just another note on my energy levels. Again last night I was busy around the house doing bits and bats and no sleeping in front of the tv – hooray!!
